Where can you buy dermablend makeup in portland oregon?

I have called macy's and the closest one is 45 mins away is there any other store. I need it to cover some tattoos that I have?

You can try Kohls or Gottshalks(sp?) There is also a brand called coverblend, that's the one I use, they're the same. I know you can purchase both of them online. You can also go to the makeup store Mac and they things you can use but it's more expensive and three steps instead of just one. Good luck!

To those who have tried Dermablend makeup, were you happy with it?

I have mild rosacea and hear Dermablend works pretty good for this. However, I've also heard that it can look cakey and thick because it is meant for people with serious skin conditions. I want good coverage, but obviously don't want to look like a clown.

Hey, what you have heard is probably right...Dermablend is awesome in small doses and it needs a lot of work to make it look right...
As far as rosacea goes, here are some tips
-go with a neutral undertone foundation- have a professional match you. Pink undertones might seem to match initially but in the long run are going to make you redder...
-some derms recommend oil free so check that out as well
-all derms, as far as I know recommend exfoliation to keep rosacea at bay...Total Turnaround Concentrate (Clinique) is good
-There are also some makeups that have salicydic acid in them- which is an exfoliator, so that too can be helpful., but these generally look best on oily skins
-Always wear a sunscreen, sun can irritate rosacea and make it worse.
If you don't go with a foundation with salicylic acid (like Clinique's Clarifying Makeup) then some of my rosacea customers loves Perfectly Real Makeup

Im going to a formal and i need something to just cover up one on my back. it has alot of color. and dermablend just kinda sucks. it looks obivious. does anyone know possiably what stars use or something? thanks!!

Ben Nye makeup This is theater make up. Maximum pigment coverage to cover tattoo. Price is cheaper than the others out there. Derma blend doesn't work very well. Mary

I have minor acne scarring and would like to enjoy my day without worrying about getting my face wet and having them show. Dermablend's colors don't work well for me. Do you know of any other good options?

YES!!!!! I have a little acne and acne scars! :( I use Revlon Color Stay. It does NOT rub off easily. It also has one for oily acne prone skin and one for normal to dry skin. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE OILY ACNE PRONE SKIN. The other one feels too oily. It works so good that you cant wash it of easily with ordinary face wash or soap. I suggest a make up remover! Good Luck!

omen have been staring at my face more...does that mean they know i'm wearing this stuff?...have any other guys had this problem?...does anyone think that the women staring at my face know i'm wearing Dermablend or makeup&think i'm gay?...i'm thinking about stopping the usage of Dermablend because i feel paranoid!...Do any other guys who use Dermablend feel the same way?

personally, i dont think its ridiculous for a guy to wear makeup, unless you go with the full effect, mascara and all. but to cover up a few spots here and there is okay. as long as its your color and you blend it in well enough so nobody notices.

Spotting Age Spots

Your summer tan has faded. But did it transfer something behind?

We call them age spots. But doctors advise they're showing up on younger and younger people, and they could sour trouble.

Barbara Sullivan loves the sun.

"I'm shell all the time, as much as I can. I go my dog. I play tennis, hardly working in the yard," she told us.

Scarce of staying indoors, she does what she can to watch over herself, putting on sunblock routine. But she's still spotted something rejected on her arms and legs: age spots.

"Started noticing age spots about four, five years ago," she serrated out.

The problem is: Barbara is fitting 40.

But Dr. Ranella Hirsch, a dermatologist, said consideration their name, age spots don't literally have anything to do with your age.

"We're seeing them these days younger and younger and younger as more and more people go out into the sun without blackmail," she needle-shaped out.

Small to approach brownish spots are a artifact of exposure to the sun and come out on certain areas of the solidity more than others, Dr. Hirsch explained.

"Age spots most commonly show on places that, well, get a lot of sun, the backs of your hands, your breast, your face."

Medically, they're benign, but if you don't think you'd look reputable with spots, Dr. Hirsch has some counsel.

"They can either obviate them, which costs something along the prepare of ten dollars for a manfulness of sunscreen or devote many more zeroes than that with me after they come," she said bluntly.
