I would stick with light colors that are sheer and shimmery. Having such dark skin, lighter colors will draw more attention to your eyes. Try cream eye-shadows, they tend not to crease as the day goes on.
As far as colors, I would try a light pink, or even a super-pale green might work.

You should go for a copper/bronze, or silver or even just a light shimmer to add to the eyes. Maybe a white-ish or off-white eyeshadow just to add some sparkles so when you're out at lunch, the sun can hit the sparkles and make your eyes pop!

Actually, with dark skin, hair, and eyes, you can wear almost anything you want. Dark is really versitile and goes with almost every color. Go experiment because Im pretty sure you will look fine with whatever color you pick.

What are good eyeshadow colors to blend?
May 28, 2007 by LinV | Posted in Makeup
I would like to know different eyeshadow colors that are good to blend together. I know the basics as in using light brown and brown, purple with darker purple, etc. I would like different shades mixed together, but I haven't really tried mixing completely diff colors together.
For example, I saw on "What Not to Wear", the makeup artist mixed a light gold brown with a blueish color and it came out great on the person.
I have really pale skin, dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes. What colors would be recommended for mixing together? Thanks!
If you live near a mac store I would go in and ask them to help you choose some new colors. That way you can try it on before you buy.

How do I apply eyeshadow colors and make it look good?
Feb 07, 2008 by chicanaaa80 | Posted in Makeup
I never wear eyeshadow b/c I just don't know how to match the darn colors. My cousin taught me how to apply the brown with a light brown background color. this has been working well. But then when I wear a very nice black dress i want to put on eyeshadow that goes with the outfit and i just don't know how.
Can anyone help? I want to try something new and i am just too embarrassed to ask my cousin again.
help would be greatly appreciated!
For a black dress i would apply eyeshadow to give a smokey look.....used alot by celebs.
You'll need a metallic white, grey and then metallic black (Matte colours dont seem to work aswell)
Apply the white to the inner eye and sweep to the middle of your eyelid. You can take the white right into the corners of your eye this will highlight your eyes.
Then take the black and start from the outer side of your eyelid and sweep to the middle next to white.
Then with the grey blend the white and black together.
As long as they are all blended well you should get a smooth contrast from white-grey-black.
Add eyeliner and plenty of mascara to finish the look.
Hope this helps...it works for me all the time :)

What bold eyeshadow colors can blondes with blue eyes wear?
Sep 16, 2008 by e_s002 | Posted in Makeup
I want to wear the bold, high pigment eyeshadow that is in style now. Gold, turqoise (peacock), green apple, ect. How can I make these colors work with my pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes? I feel something is missing to make it look complete. I wear a neutral lip gloss and bronzer on cheeks. Any suggestions?
ALL THE COLORS YOU MENTIONED EXCEPT FOR THE GOLD WILL BE PERFECT FOR YOUR PALE COMPLEXION. TRY ADDING A LITTLE MORE COLOR TO YOUR LIPS AND USING A CORDINATING EYELINER.
