I love the way creme eyeshadows look with the bolder colors, but I hate how after just a few hours you get that unsightly creasing on your eyelids as the natural oils in your face builds up. Everytime I've tried to use powder to "set" it though, it gets all cakey and lumpy. Yuck! Can anyone teach me how to use this stuff?
Iuse a light < very little> light shade of powder shadow on the creae only.. This should set the cream shw. without problems.. You might be using too much powder first. I have very dry skin , living here in the Desert. If you skin is very oily. use a good facial cleaner for oily skin first then apply your lite powder. this should solve your problem Good Luck..

What I do is I put powder on my eye lids before I do anything, then I gently pat the eyeshadow on, not puting a lot on the crease. Hope this helps!

What's a good silver creme eyeshadow?
Mar 13, 2008 by deva_lokii2 | Posted in Makeup
I used to to use one from Revlon, from their skinlights collection, but I don't think it is around anymore. Are there any good silver/chromish colored creme eyeshadows from DRUGSTORE brands? Like a silver that's kind of sheer looking, not matte preferably? You can suggest the expensive brands, but only suggest them if you suggest a drugstore one as well pls...
hmm, maybe Dream Mousse eyeshadow? i found it on maybelline's website...i've seen a silver color at walmart and all those stores. i have the silver one right now and i love it! it shows up and is so smooth. here it is

Aug 14, 2007 by smitty | Posted in Makeup
Does anyone know what ingredients are contained in the Benefit "Creaseless Creme" eyeshadows? Also, does anyone know if talc or mica are included in cream eyeshadow formulations?
For the Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner
Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, isododecane, polyethylene, polymethylmethacrylate, deimethicone, disteardimonium, [+/-: Titanium dioxide (CI 77891), Tin Oxide, Iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) Carmine (CI 75470) Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163)]

so i picked up a few creme shadows from urban wasting. i really wanted to have some products that would be perfect for summer. straightforward to apply, low maintenance, but still look nice. something fresh and illuminate. that's what summer's all about right? well i'm in love. i picked up rehab (taupe), suburbia (bronze), and radium (indecent). i haven't used blue yet though. the colors are so pretty, there's a friendly variety. i want more as a matter of fact. i read a lot about people having issues with assiduity. what i've been doing is applying with the doe foot wand on my lid and into my crease, then blending out with the 217 a mean just so it's not a harsh edge. then after it's dry i add any other layers if i want it to be brighter. the staying power is outstanding. i wear udpp under them still since i have oily lids. for a while i've been wanting to start venturing back into one color on my lid. something low key. mostly for the summer, since as much as i like doing full eye looks, sometimes it's fortification to keep things minimal. well these shadows are perfect! and they're great for excursions, to do a quick look and give yourself a little color.
