Bright Eyeshadow?
Jun 06, 2007 by Shaniese | Posted in Other - Beauty & Style
I was wondering, what is the best bright eyeshadow color for my skin tone. I'm brown skin and i have dark-brown eyes.
I love the look of purple with dark skin and eyes. However, greens can be intriguing...On the other hand, I wouldn't suggest blue or pink; I don't think they'd work well.
Also, although you asked for bright, I've always thought that very smoky eyes, sort of metallic, look incredible with your skin/eye combination.
yay. it's me. [[VT!]] | Jun 06, 2007

Who hates bright eyeshadow as much I do?
Oct 27, 2008 by blankety | Posted in Makeup
Hi guys.
I just don't like the look of super bright and funky eyeshadow to wear outside of the house. I think it is just too much and one can look like a parrot. I don't get the trend and I don't believe you need to own like 100 eyeshadows to look good. Makeup is to enhance your beauty. Sometimes bright eyeshadow makes people just see your makeup and not your eyes. Do you agree?
I think I will still to neutrals for that natural, classic look.
Where can I get long lasting and bright eyeshadow?
Oct 30, 2008 by Cat | Posted in Makeup
Anyone know where I can buy long lasting bright eyeshadow that won't smudge or smear? Thanks :)
MAC makes great shadows, with a huge variety of colors. Urban Decay is another good brand. You may want to first apply a primer to your eye lid before you put on the shadow. Not only will the makeup stay on better, but will also make the color more vivid.

What's some good super bright eyeshadow for a lesser price?
Jan 23, 2008 by Shannon | Posted in Makeup
With really bright colors that are almost pure pigment, and long stay. Perferably in pallete form, unless it's cheap to buy it seperate. Really bright stuff like goths wear. Don't suggest Hot Topic, I already tried that.
loreal HIP. they have amazing, bright, long lasting eyeshadow duos and they only cost like 7 bucks and sometimes you can get them even cheaper if they are buy one get one free

Where can I find really bright orange eyeshadow that doesnt look tacky?
Jul 08, 2008 by Sally Q | Posted in Makeup
I don't want costume makeup I just want bright shimmery eyeshadow with an orange hue .. the color goes really well with my skin and black eyeliner.
I HATE MAC .. it has too many chemicals in it...
I'm going to order the cuberry and see how it is.
I think you'll love Cuberry's Super Tokyo. Their "Super" colors are the brightest of the bright. They switch out collections every now and then so you have to check for it.
It looks like they have it availible.

The picture makes it look really flourescent but in real life its just a really pretty bright orange. I think you'll love it.

Take a Trip Down the Rabbit Hole with Urban Decay's Twisted Nod to Wonderland
19.03.10
This condition, everyone’s gone mad.
From the originality-inspired collections at Versace, Zac Posen and Alexander McQueen, to wavering jewelry by Tom Binns and imaginary colors from O.P.I. pin lacquer, cheerful “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired trends are everywhere. But much like Tim Burton’s upcoming dim adaptation (in theaters Parade 5), Urban Putrefy has put their distinctly edgy whirl on the classic children’s report with the unveiling of their new “Alice in Wonderland”-inspired Publication of Shadows.
This dissolute, limited printing makeup palette opens up to sprightly pop-up scene of Alice’s excursion through the mushroom forest, and is adorned with a sumptuous black teacup system, evoking the darker and “curiouser” side of Wonderland.
Featuring 16 of their most appropriate-selling pigment-rolling in it Deluxe Eyeshadows with topsy-turvy new names like Chessur (a very wicked mauve), Muchness (a quick-tempered, rich gold), Alice (a bright peacock down in the mouth) and Midnight Tea Soir (a take on the sandy taupe Midnight Cowboy), the collecting is surprisingly flexible, with a totally wearable collection of both bright, fashion -foster shades and ‘9-5’ warm-hearted neutrals. Also included are hang around sized 24/7 Sail-On Eye Pencils in bright teal and no-disappoint black, and a mini Eyeshadow Primer Potation to keep shadow looking green for hours, making for a implausible and colorful boob down the rabbit tear, indeed.
