Avon Eyeshadow?

well i just got some eyshadow from the avon catalogue (which means i haven't tried it on yet) and Peachy Pleasures was one Clearence so i got it. will it look good on me? i have brown skin (my family is from south india.. but im am not really dark) on foundation guide im usually called bronze. i have really dark brown eyes. pleez no answers about natural beuty! thanks!
all you can do it try it and see what it looks like on you. peaches, and browns usually look really nice on your toned skin.

This is just my opinion, but I like bronze or dark grey eye shadow on women with a dark complexion and dark eyes.

Avon eye shadow does not work that well it comes off be for long but i think it will look nice on you!

well try picturing you in it and if you look good in it you will or try asking people who wont lie to you and ask "do you think i will look good in this eyeshadow" try that

Avon, OMG that is so unclassy. You would be better with max factor than Avon. Avon is cheap nasty stuff.

I think the color you bought will be fine. Maybe try a bronze color on upper portions and the peach on the lids. I think you'll like the effect.

How do I wear Avon's Rosewood Eyeshadow Quad?

I bought this eyeshadow quad a few months ago from Avon(You can go to Avon's website under "eyeshadow" and see it there at the bottom, if I am not mistaken) and I have no clue how to wear all 4 colors! I know you can wear all 4 colors because I have seen it done before, but I'm not sure what order to apply the colors in (If that makes any sense!)

We have this in our store so I know exactly the quad you are reffering to.
There are two ways to use all 4 colors.
The first way is to use the lightest color on your lid as merely a base color. Wearing a base color allows the primary color to better adhere to the lid & the base color helps absorb any sweat, other, that normally makes the color fade throughout the day. After the base, use the medium color of the three left on the lid, followed by the darkest in the crease, then the lightest on the top.
Second option is to use the second darkest color on the lid 2/3 from the eyelid closest to the nose, outwards. Then the darkest shade on the remainding 1/3 of the lid. Then the on the 2/3 of the upper lid, starting closest to the nose with the use the second lightest, followed by the lightest in the remainging outer 1/3 of the upper lid.
Finally, experiment, make you own look & fun!

It was on cmapaign 1 or 2 of this year. I bought the blue's. have looked everywere but just show shadows i want to see model wearing it so i can copy it.
try checking the avon web site for an e-mail adress and ask them to send it via e-mail from thier archive.

The little stencil things where you put on your eyes and it comes up perfect eyeshadow?
I've tried them and they're messy at first, but once you get the hang of it you wind up saving yourself time.
Money is different though. If you can learn how to apply the makeup in the same way, then you wind up saving money in the long run by buying the colors and applying yourself.
Either way, be prepared to waste a few trying to get it just right :O)

I have watched so many tutorials on youtube (found them by searching other peoples Q & A's)
But, I am trying to make the best out of
Avon True Colors eyeshadow quad.. smoky eyes quad #q801
Can anyone help?
I have very large brown eyes, and very fair skin, and dark hair.
I am looking for more of dramatic effect.

1. BASE
Sweep second lightest shade over lid, from upper lash line to just above crease.
2. HIGHLIGHT
Dust lightest shade directly under brow.
3. CONTOUR & SHAPE
Blend second darkest shade in outer corner of lid and outer half of crease.
4. ACCENT
Add darkest shade along upper lash line for soft definition. Finish with your favorite AVON mascara.
And liner and mascara.make the color go outward a tad like egyptian, ya kno?

Top makeup artists say that matte makeup is an evolving pulchritude trend that should be merit news for people of all fleece types and tones. Matte doesn't axiomatically mean stretched out - instead muse over of it as sheer or satiny - and it plainly tones down any dewiness or effervesce. "I think it's accepted to be a matte in all respects pretty ere long," says Avon's pandemic colour ingenious director Jillian Dempsey.
For this look, which can have a retro vibe, extemporize up the eyes, she suggests. "I believe this is the look that works first: matte fleece with a little bit of a lined eye, some eye-dimness contrast and maybe some littlest black-brown, easygoing-lash look."
If you like a darker, vampier look, add a purple or red lip. A more mediocre look is a smoky eye and without a stitch on matte lip. But, Dempsey warns, the matte husk will ramp up the create of a heavily made up eye or lip exponentially.
There's also a chance of a matte base looking cakey or a lip looking chalky, so moisturizer or lip balm always comes first.
But don't let that find you off, says Kayleen McAdams, name makeup artist for Dior.
"Most people can abrade this trend - it's harder for people to do dewy than matte because if you have servile skin, dewy is too much," she says. "Straight be taking regard of your skin."
Start off with an oil-extricate moisturizer and dab on with your handle a lip balm for a shiny surface. Then, McAdams says, try a lipstick that doesn't bleed.
