so i got the emjoi epilator and i tried it on my leg and it hurt like f***!! and the little booklet thingy it said to take a warm shower and use an exfoliationt cream to lessesn the pain, can u tell me some other ways to lessen the pain besides those two??
I have been using an epilator for 4 years now, and my mom has used one for well over 30 years. After you get all the hair out once, it won't hurt so bad. Taking a shower first is a great idea. The hair will come out easier. Stick with it! and good luck.

How turn Emjoi epilator on?
Oct 24, 2007 by Nuchjaree P | Posted in Hair
I just bought an Emjoi omtiMini epilator but I'm not sure how to turn it on.It says turn to level 1 for fine hair and level 2 for course hair.I tried to turn the thing on he front but it won't turn.Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Can someone please help me?
Please don't sound offended and I'm sorry if you don't like this post but please throw it away.
If you use the epilator on your hairs then they will grow back extra dark and extra thick. it is a bad thing to use.
try to stick to waxing and plucking. threading isn't so bad either.
if you have enough money then get a few laser treatments done. don't try electrolysis because it can scar, is very expensive, VERY painful and uncomfortable.

Whats better the Emjoi Epilator or the Braun Epilator?
Feb 23, 2007 by msjobeauty | Posted in Hair
I am thing about buying an Epilator but unsure which brand to get. Do they really hurt or do you get use to it? Any info would be great.
I have never tried the Braun epilator but I have owned a rechargeable Emjoi for 6 years and couldn't be happier. It removes hair from the root and over time it keeps hair from growing thicker (as it does when you shave). Since hair becomes thinner and weaker, you may need to exfoliate regularly or use a loofah to prevent ingrown hairs.
It is great for legs, underarms and even the bikini line. I tried it on the upper lip but hair is too thin so it breaks before it gets a chance to be pulled out.
If you have shaved for a long time it may hurt a little at the beginning, but after a short while you get used to the prickling sensation.

Does the emjoi epilator hurt?
Oct 17, 2007 by Crystal A | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
I have heard its really good. Is it painful?
It plucks your hair out from the root! Does that not sound painful?
After a few uses, however, your skin does become less sensitive to it. Like waxing, the most painful visit is the first one.
I don't, however, suggest you waste your money when tweezers or waxing do the same thing.
