Is Gillette deodorant/anti-perspirant good to use?

There's different types of Gillette deodorant/anti-perspirant (e.g., 24-hour protection), so also, what type is good?
Gillette is a fine brand, so I would go for it. However, there's a big difference between a deodorant and an anti-perspirant.
A deodorant basically prevents bacteria from breaking down your sweat and stinking. They tend to last a long time. Up to 24 hours, as advertised.
An anti-perspirant works by trying to absorb your sweat. The problem is that most people sweat so much that they usually overwhelm the active ingredient and the end result is that they sweat with white flakes all over their clothes.

try Addidas Intensive ( 48HR Anti-Perspirant ) Not like you wouldn't take a shower for 48 hours though.

A Nivea deodorant roll on stick for sensitive skin is really the best.
Does not itch or burn:use it years already.

Does Gillette Clinical Strength really help a sweaty guy?

I'm 13 (14 in july) and I get really sweaty when I go to school. I was wondering if gillette clinical strength deodorant could help me. I know the commercials make it look good, but is it good? And also, are there any bad things that could happen to someone as young as me that uses it? I'm not worried about the price (which is about $8) cuz it's worth $50 to be dry all. Does it feel weird on you? Thanks a ton!
We did a lot of studies to be sure we could support the claims of superior protection, so I'm confident that Gillette does what it's supposed to do.
Put it on at night, after your shower, as well as after any other showers you take during the day. It can take a few days to get up to full strength--but when it does, I think you'll be satisfied.
I also have a 13 year old son. He is DEFINITELY not too young for deodorant! :)

Do you use clinical strength deodorant only at night, and use a regular stick in the morning?

I'll admit, I think I have a problem with underarm perspiration, and I have seen many ads, on TV, about Gillette's Clinical Strength deodorant, but I don't know if I should use that for when I go to sleep, or use it when I go to sleep, and then re-apply it again in the morning. Please let me know.
Does anyone know where to buy a deodorant that does not include antiperspirant?

My husband is highly allergic to all products with an anti perspirant. He breaks out in hives in his armpits within 30 minutes. For several years, he has been able to buy a Gillette product that is deodorant but does not have the antiperspirant. They are no longer making it. Can anyone recommend another brand that works well?
